The traditional hammam (25–40€) is the real local ritual: steam room, black-soap application, full-body kessa scrub and rinse — 60–90 minutes that leave you reborn. The popular middle ground is hammam + argan massage (55–90€, about 2h).
The full spa day (100–160€) is the works: hammam ritual, 60-minute massage, facial with local products (argan, rose, rhassoul clay), mint tea and relaxation time in a private riad spa. Couple rooms available. Afternoon slots are the quietest; in high season, book 1–2 days ahead.

Frequently asked questions
What actually happens in a traditional hammam?
You'll steam in a hot room, be covered in black (olive) soap, then scrubbed with a kessa glove — by yourself or by an attendant — and rinsed. Skin comes out genuinely new. It's a centuries-old weekly ritual in Morocco.
Do I have to be naked?
No: in tourist-friendly venues you keep your swimsuit or the disposable underwear provided. Private sessions and women-only/men-only hours are standard — tell us your preference and we book accordingly.
Is the spa day worth it vs. the simple hammam?
Different products: the hammam alone is the authentic quick ritual; the spa day is 3–4 hours of complete reset with massage and facial. After a surf camp week, most people choose the spa day.
Can couples go together?
Yes — several venues have private couple rooms for the hammam + massage combination. It's one of our most-booked options; reserve a day ahead in season.
