How it works, straight talk
Rides leave from the ranch near Diabat, 10 minutes from the medina. The classic route crosses the eucalyptus forest, climbs the dunes and descends to the beach for the long shoreline stretch — 2h at sunset is the one everyone remembers. Beginners walk with a guide alongside; experienced riders get real gallop sections.
Horses are Barb and Arab-Barb, matched to your weight and level. Groups are capped at 6 riders; private rides (80–120€) go out with your own guide at your own pace. Sunset slots in summer sell out 2–3 days ahead.

Frequently asked questions
I've never ridden. Can I join the sunset ride?
Yes — most guests are beginners. Calm horses, a guide walking beside you for the first stretch, and the group splits so experienced riders can gallop separately.
What should I wear?
Long trousers and closed shoes are required (no shorts or flip-flops — saddle rub is real). Helmets are provided and included.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, around 90–100 kg depending on the horse available. Tell us in your booking request and we confirm the right mount — no embarrassment on the day.
What if it rains or there's a sandstorm?
Light wind is fine. Heavy rain or unsafe conditions: the ride is rescheduled free or refunded. We check the forecast with the ranch the day before.
Can children ride?
From 4–6 years on a led pony; from 10–12 on their own horse if confident. Kids' helmets always included.
